Forever First Lady (Michelle Obama) said there was magic in the air. She wasn’t wrong. The DNC aligned with a rare super Blue Moon π π π .

Blue is also a color that represents healing – something America πΊπΈ needs to survive.
Only once in a super Blue Moon π does a Black/Indian American woman run for President of the United States with strong prospects. I’m here for it! πππππ
As an impact litigator and activist, I know civil rights are in the blueprint of our nation’s DNA Code. Like Madame Vice President, I am inspired by Thurgood Marshall and Constance Baker Motley. I was on my friend’s (Marissa Price’s) podcast yesterday, and I said it just minutes before Madame Vice President did in her acceptance speech. Birds of a feather: black women lawyers. π©π½ββοΈπ©πΎββοΈ
Madame Vice President and I are both for the people. I have pivoted from corporate defense law (big law), and I am fighting for the people: black women and our allies. I am working in my sweet spot; yeah, that’s the business.
With respect to most American work forces, black women’s civil rights are violated at an epidemic level rate. The EEOC knows, but does nothing to properly cure it.
The current laws on the books are pro-employer. As an activist, I declare: this must change. The EEOC faces class action legal exposure until this epidemic is cured.
As an impact litigator, I use my legal training to liberate black women from toxic jobs. The EEOC owes black women a national audit to see who the repeat offenders are. These employers should be fined and required to do effective DEI training.
It is my belief that the Crown Act should be Federal law. Black women deserve to work free from hair harassment. No longer should a black woman’s hair be the latest office scandal. How Jim Crow of you, America πΊπΈ π! Grow up!!
The clergy kid/healer in me calls for us to take advantage of this lingering Blue Moon π energy by holding America πΊπΈ to her pledge for a more perfect union. We’re not afraid of hard work, right?
